Erin Johnson

Erin Johnson is a skilled recreation and environmental educator with extensive experience in program coordination and youth mentorship. Currently serving as a Recreation Programs Coordinator and School and OST Programs Coordinator at Tracy Aviary since September 2022, Erin previously held positions such as Head Counselor at YMCA of Northern Utah, where responsibilities included planning summer camp activities and managing staff for over 100 children. With a background as an Environmental Educator at the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Erin developed nature-themed lesson plans and led educational tours, while also gathering water quality data. Previous roles include Expedition Trip Leader at Overland Summers, Americorps Member with City Year, and various positions focused on safety and team-building in outdoor settings. Erin holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy from William & Mary and certifications in Wilderness First Aid.
