Jao Henry

Jao Henry is a seasoned software developer with extensive experience in full stack web application development and team leadership. Currently serving as a Senior Developer at Trade Me since July 2021, Jao has previously held the position of Intermediate Developer there. Prior to Trade Me, Jao worked at Allied Telesis as a full stack web application developer from March 2020 to June 2021, and at Grandsys as a Team Lead for over a decade. Notable accomplishments include developing a PaaS for a text searching system using Kubernetes and contributing to various Workforce Management products for EVA AIR and Chunghwa telecom, as well as scheduling engines for Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs. Jao possesses expertise in business logic design, website and database development, and is proficient in technologies including Docker, Scala, and reactive programming. Jao holds a Graduate Diploma in Applied Information Technology with a focus on Network Engineering from Wintec and has prior educational experience at UTS College and Chang Jung Senior High School.
