Kara Stancell

Kara Stancell has over 30 years of work experience in public relations, investor relations, corporate communications, and legal research. Kara began their career in 1991 as a Legal Research Analyst and Shepard's Citations Editor at Shepard's McGraw-Hill. In 1995, they moved to Business Wire as an Editor, Newsroom Supervisor, and Account Executive. In 2003, they joined Medicis as VP, Investor & Public Relations & Corporate Communications. From 2013 to 2015, they were Principal at KJS Consulting, LLC and Pharma/Biotech Public Relations at Fingerpaint. Kara then co-founded and was Managing Partner at Credible Strategic Advisors, LLC and Biotech & Pharma Consultant from 2013 to 2018. In 2018, they joined Dermavant Sciences as VP, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications, and in 2021, they joined Clarus Therapeutics as VP, Investor Relations & Corporate Communications. Currently, they are a Public Relations Volunteer at TradeHelp\u2122. Additionally, they are the Founder & Owner of Charlee's Tales, LLC since 2017.

Kara Stancell's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature, Theater; French from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, earned between 1987 and 1990. Kara also earned a Certification in Investor Relations and Corporate Communications from UC Irvine between 2006 and 2008. Most recently, they attended Johns Hopkins University School of Education from 2016 to 2017, studying Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia.
