Jason Dias-Patel

Jason Dias-Patel has extensive work experience in the financial technology industry. Jason is currently serving as the Director at Tradepoint Systems since June 2019.

Prior to their current role, Jason worked at J.P. Morgan where they held various positions from 2013 to 2019. Jason was the Rates eTrading Vice President in Global Technology from October 2018 to May 2019. Before that, they served as the Vice President in Global Technology for FX Algorithmic Execution from January 2017 to October 2018, and as the Vice President for FX Services Technical Lead from October 2013 to January 2017.

Jason also worked at National Australia Bank as the Director of Algorithmic and eTrading in FICC from June 2011 to October 2013. Earlier in their career, they held the position of Technical Account Manager at Thomson Reuters from February 2009 to June 2011.

Before joining Thomson Reuters, Jason worked at UBS as a Support Analyst in FICC from November 2007 to February 2009. Jason also served as a Software Developer in FICC from September 2006 to November 2007.

Jason began their career as an IT Consultant in Financial Services at Logica from August 2004 to September 2006. Jason also gained experience as a Software Developer in the Advanced Technology Group at Citrix Systems through a summer internship in 2003.

Jason Dias-Patel completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computing at the University of Westminster from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including "Capstone: Retrieving, Processing, and Visualizing Data with Python," "Python for Everybody Specialization," "Using Databases with Python," "Using Python to Access Web Data," "Python Data Structures," and "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)" from Coursera Course Certificates. Jason also holds certifications in "Getting and Cleaning Data" and "R Programming" from Coursera Verified Certificates. Furthermore, they are certified in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Jason also has a certificate in ACI Dealing (Distinction) from ACI UK-The Financial Markets Association, a Certificate in FSA Financial Regulations and a Certificate in Securities from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI). Jason has additional certifications in Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) for Designing and Implementing Databases with Microsoft SQL Server 2000 and Developing and Implementing Web Applications with Microsoft Visual C#.NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.NET from Microsoft. Jason has also obtained a Professional Certificate in Management from The Open University Business School and certifications as a Sun Certified Java Developer (SCJD), Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP), and Sun Certified Web Component Developer (SCWCD) from Oracle.
