Chris Ryan

Chris Ryan has over 20 years of experience in software development and management. Chris started their career at Visinet in 1996 as a Programmer. Chris then joined Trader Publishing Company in 1997 as a Lead Developer where they developed front-end websites and managed a middleware product. In 2000, they joined Great Bridge, LLC as an Open Source Developer, focusing on website front-end software development using PHP and Apache.

In 2001, Chris joined xTuple as a Lead Software Engineer, where they developed and managed a flagship ERP product, designed and developed other applications, and managed the development and release processes for all products. Chris also handled corporate network infrastructure, servers, and services.

In 2011, they moved to Dominion Enterprises as a Lead Developer, responsible for maintaining site software for front and back-end websites. Chris later became a Software Development Manager, supervising a team of developers, making decisions on policies and procedures, and coordinating with other teams to achieve project goals.

Since 2017, Chris has been working at Trader Interactive as a Principal Software Developer. Although the specific end date is not provided, they have been in this role for over three years.

Chris Ryan attended Christopher Newport University from 1996 to 1997. The degree and field of study are unspecified. In addition, Chris Ryan obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in August 2021.
