Michael Kong

Michael Kong has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Michael is currently working as a Lead Software Engineer at AutoTrader.ca since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Cox Automotive Canada from 2015 until 2022, where they also held the role of Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for leading application development efforts, promoting innovation and learning, and designing comprehensive web-based solutions. From 2006 to 2015, Michael worked at Dealertrack Technologies, initially as a Senior Software Engineer and later as a Software Engineer. During this time, they designed and implemented high-performance web-based solutions, maintained backend XML communication, and created e-Commerce applications. Before that, in 2005, they worked as an ASP.NET Web Developer at DGN Marketing Services Ltd., where they designed and developed e-commerce solutions and implemented multiple projects for various clients. Overall, Michael Kong has extensive experience in software engineering, with a focus on web-based solutions and application development.

Michael Kong started their education in the year 2000 at Seneca College, where they studied Computer Programming for a year. Following that, they attended York University from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Computer Science.
