Thomas Murphy

Thomas Murphy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Thomas currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at AutoTrader.ca since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Allianz as a Full Stack Software Engineer from November 2019 to October 2022, where they worked on Angular Front Ends built on a reusable component library and assisted with .Net Framework Migration. Thomas also had an earlier role at Allianz as an Entry Level .Net Engineer from July 2018 to November 2019.

Before their career in software engineering, Thomas worked as a Senior Bartender at Doheny & Nesbitt from December 2015 to July 2018 and at Ryans Dundrum House from January 2015 to September 2015. Thomas also gained experience as a Barman at The Black Horse Inn from July 2009 to October 2014.

Additionally, Thomas has managerial experience as a Floor Manager at Gerla Restaurants Ltd T/A McDonald's from September 2012 to July 2014. In this role, they handled customer complaints, trained crew members on food safety policies, motivated staff, managed cash handling, and controlled stock. Prior to that, they worked as a Crew member at Gerla Restaurants Ltd T/A McDonald's from July 2010 to September 2012.

Thomas also held a role as a General Operative at T'O'Reilly electrical supplies from February 2007 to March 2009.

Thomas Murphy attended Templeogue College from 2003 to 2009, where they obtained their Leaving Certificate. Following that, they pursued their undergraduate education at Technological University Dublin from 2012 to 2016. Thomas specialized in Computer Science and received a degree in Computing.
