Greg Jachno

Greg Jachno, PhD has a diverse work experience in various industries. Greg is currently serving as the Global Head of Data Science & Analytics at Tradeweb since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Data Science & Product - Alternative Data at Ascential from March 2020 to February 2021. From 2015 to 2020, they held multiple roles at Bloomberg LP, including the Global Predictive Analytics Product Manager and the Head of Quantitative Financial Research, Enterprise Data. Before joining Bloomberg LP, they worked as a Trader/Quantitative Analyst at Millennium Partners from March 2011 to June 2015. Greg also worked as an Economist at the Federal Housing Finance Agency from July 2010 to March 2011. In addition, they have prior experience as an Instructor at the University of Virginia and as a Summer Research Analyst at Keefe, Bruyette, & Woods.

Greg Jachno, PhD, earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science with Honors & Economics from Colgate University in 2005. Greg then pursued an M.A in Economics at the University of Virginia from 2005 to 2006. Greg continued their education at the University of Virginia, where they obtained their Ph.D in Economics in 2010.
