Vikrant Sanghvi

Vikrant Sanghvi has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their role as an Engineering Intern at Graficali in 2013. Vikrant then worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Tech Mahindra from 2014 to 2015, where they were responsible for designing tools to test telecom service provider software applications and services. In 2016, they served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University, where they administered Linux servers for the Health Informatics Lab and Financial Informatics Lab, as well as collaborated on the development of a Type 2 Diabetes Management System.

In 2017, Vikrant joined ForkOut as a Backend Software Developer, leading the design of the workflow for a restaurant recommendation engine using Elixir programming. Later that year, they worked as a Software Developer at Verizon Wireless, where they were responsible for developing and optimizing the enterprise diagnostic tool used by customer reps and end users.

Vikrant's most recent experience is at Tradeweb, where they started as an Assistant Vice President - Software Engineer in 2017 and currently serves as a Vice President - Senior Software Engineer. In this role, they code and designs new features for a mission-critical web-based trading platform in the fixed income market, utilizing Java, ExtJS, and SQL. Vikrant also adapts existing re-usable components, assists with rollout and post-production support, and works on a high-frequency trading platform used by major banks in the US and European markets.

Vikrant Sanghvi completed their education history with a Master's degree in Computer Science from Boston University, which they obtained from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Before entering university, Vikrant attended Vidhya Mandir Senior Secondary School in KOTA, India, from 2008 to 2010, where they focused on Mathematics and Computer Science. Vikrant'ssecondary education was completed at Lakshmipat Singhania School in J.K.Puram, Rajasthan, India, from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, Vikrant earned various certifications including Data Analysis on Hadoop from LinkedIn in 2017 and Lean Six Sigma - Yellow Belt from Tech Mahindra in 2014. Vikrant also obtained several Microsoft certifications related to web development and .NET Framework in 2014 from Microsoft IT Academy.
