Wahaj Ahmed

Wahaj Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Wahaj started their career as a Customer Support Representative at IBEX | Global Pakistan in 2012. Wahaj then moved on to Zubair Engineering Company - ZEC, where they held the position of Senior Account Executive from 2010 to 2015.

After gaining experience in account management, Wahaj joined Bank AL Habib Limited in 2017 as a Foreign Trade Services specialist, managing various foreign remittance procedures and improving Foreign Exchange Service efficiency. Wahaj was later promoted to the role of Credit Manager, where they provided technical and fundamental analysis to optimize financial operations within managed accounts.

Most recently, Wahaj worked at Tradewind Finance GmbH as a Business Development Manager, where they proactively managed trade relationships and developed strategic sales plans to expand the company's customer base. In 2023, they were promoted to Vice-President - Business Development at Tradewind GmbH. During their time at Tradewind, Wahaj focused on building strong customer relationships, presenting sales reports, identifying business opportunities, and maintaining customer records.

Wahaj Ahmed completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in 2019 from Bahria University, with a specialization in Digital Marketing, Export Marketing, Business to Business (B2B) Marketing, and New Product Development. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree from Karachi University in 2015, focusing on Advance and Cost Accounting, as well as Banking and Finance.

Before entering university, Wahaj attended Pakistan International School Jeddah - PISJ AZIZIA from 2008 to 2010 and received a Higher Secondary School degree with a concentration in Pre-Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Wahaj has acquired several certifications. Wahaj obtained a certification in Foreign Exchange Services from Bank Al Habib Limited in December 2018 and completed the Art of Business Communication program at the same institution in October 2018. Furthermore, they obtained certifications from Google, including the Academy for Ads Certification for Video, Mobile, and Search Ads in July 2018, and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification in June 2018. Wahaj also completed a Basic Banking Course at Bank Al Habib Limited in June 2017 and obtained a Diploma in Computerized Accounting (DCA) from the Skill Development Corporation (SDC) in April 2013.
