Thomas Koch

Thomas Koch began their work experience in 2006 as a Grønt bud at De Grønne Bude. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Barista at Kalles Kaffe // Barista Service. In 2013, they joined IKEA Group as a Product Development Engineer, responsible for the components of furniture. From 2016 to 2018, they held the role of Design Engineer at IKEA Group, focusing on innovation, creation of new designs, and collaborating with suppliers. Since 2018, they have been working as a Product Developer at &tradition. Additionally, from 2004 to 2014, they played as a Musician in various bands.

Thomas Koch has a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Design & Innovation from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, which they obtained from 2006 to 2012. In 2010, they completed a short-term program at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, focusing on the optimization of palm oil production in Malaysia. From 2013 to 2016, Thomas Koch undertook various trainings at IKEA. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in SolidWorks, including SolidWorks Advanced Assembly, SolidWorks Advanced Part Modelling, SolidWorks Basic, and Solidworks Surface Modelling.
