Carl Miles

Director, Marketing - Admissions and Customer Services at Trafford College

Carl Miles is the current Director of Marketing for Admissions and Customer Services at Trafford College. Carl has over fifteen years of experience in marketing, brand management, and communications.

Previously, Carl was the Head of Marketing at Preston's College from May 2012 to July 2017. Carl was responsible for developing the brand and marketing strategy for the college, as well as the operational delivery of the internal and external communications plan. Carl also won multiple awards during their time at Preston's College, including HEIST and national commercial radio recognition.

Before Preston's College, Carl worked as a senior brand manager at Musgrave Retail Partners from January 2006 to December 2011. Carl was responsible for developing and delivering all ATL and BTL 'value' advertising for the SuperValu supermarket brand, covering 193 stores in the Republic of Ireland. Carl has extensive experience in strategic and tactical brand planning and execution, production and delivery of broadcast and print media, as well as development and execution of digital and social media brand plans.

Carl Miles reports to James Scott, Principal and Chief Executive. They work with Simon Hannet - Director, MIS, Darryn Hedges - Interim Director of Finance & Strategy, and Emma Goodlet - Assistant Principal, 16-19 Study Programmes.
