Shaun Deakin

Shaun Deakin has a diverse work experience in the education and animal care sectors. Shaun started their career in 2008 as an Education and Sustainability Officer at Blackpool Zoo. Shaun then moved on to Myerscough College in 2011, where they worked as an Advanced Teaching Practitioner and Lecturer in Animal Care until 2013. Following this, they joined Salford City College as a Teacher and Programme Leader for Animal Care, Equine, Public Services, and Sport, where they worked until 2015. Shaun is currently serving as the Head of Learner Services at Trafford College.

Shaun Deakin completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Zoology/Animal Biology at Bangor University. Following this, from 2011 to 2013, Shaun obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Education Post in the field of Education from Lancaster University.
