Simonas Valionis

Simonas Valionis has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they joined Trafi as the Public Transport Data Lead, where they led a team of public transport data specialists according to Agile principles. Simonas was responsible for the team delivery process, city launches, and end-to-end quality assurance. Simonas also held the role of Public Transport Data Specialist, where they worked with many different public transport data standards, including GTFS, NeTEx, and TransXChange. Simonas was responsible for public transport data import, analysis, clean-up, and monitoring.

Prior to Trafi, they worked at Vilnius Business College from 2012-2016 as a Project Manager, where they managed several EU-funded international education projects and led Erasmus student and teaching staff exchange programs. Simonas also organized communication and marketing campaigns for the college.

In 2011, Simonas Valionis worked at Vilnius College of Design as an International Affairs Assistant.

In 2010, they worked at Laurea University of Applied Sciences as a Research and Development Assistant.

Simonas Valionis obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Communication from Vilnius Business College between 2009 and 2012. Afterwards, they went on to pursue a Master of Science in Communication and Information from Tilburg University between 2014 and 2016.
