Fred Mapes

Fred Mapes is a retired professional with extensive experience in electronics and leadership within youth organizations. From 2014 to the present, Fred Mapes has served as M-W Adv. Ch for Trail Life USA, collaborating with Aria and troop leaders to address advancement issues in the Mid-West region. Prior to this role, Fred Mapes enjoyed retirement while actively engaging with the Boy Scouts and Summer Camp at Chief Logan Reservation from April 2008 to February 2012. Fred Mapes worked as a radio technician at Hall Electronics in Columbus, OH, from December 1989 to January 2005 and served as an electronic technician in the United States Air Force from September 1966 to November 1989. Educational qualifications include a degree in Doppler/INS Nav Tech from Kessler Tech Training Center and general education from Cedar Cliff SHS.
