Ashling Donnelly

Ashling Donnelly has over 10 years of experience in tax and treasury management. Ashling is currently Head of Tax at Trainline, a position they have held since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as Group Tax Manager at Trainline from July 2019 to October 2020. Before joining Trainline, Ashling was the Group Tax and Treasury Manager at Addison Lee Group from July 2018 to July 2019. Their earlier experience includes serving as a Manager in Business Tax Services at Smith & Williamson from May 2014 to May 2018. Ashling began their career at Hill Vellacott in 2008, where they gained exposure to international corporate tax and played a key role in preparing tax returns, advising on tax queries, and identifying tax-efficient changes. Ashling worked at Hill Vellacott until September 2013.

Ashling Donnelly graduated from Loretto Grammar, Omagh in 2005. Ashling then pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast from 2005 to 2008. From 2008 to 2012, they attended Chartered Accountants Ireland to obtain their ACA degree in Accounting. Their education continued with the Chartered Institute of Taxation, where they completed their CTA degree specializing in Advanced Corporation Tax/Owner Managed Businesses in 2016.
