Darrell Scott

Darrell Scott is an experienced Engineering Manager at Trainline since January 2017, leading cross-functional engineering teams to achieve business objectives, collaborating with product, growth, and architecture, while supporting team members' career development and introducing process improvements. Previously, Darrell held various roles at The Access Group from November 2007 to December 2016, including Lead Developer/Architect, where responsibilities included defining technical vision, rescuing products from failed projects, and implementing automation practices. Earlier experience includes positions at CGI, Maritime Life Assurance Company, Keane Canada, and Norwich Union, focusing on application development, client engagement, and systems analysis, complemented by a BSc (Hons) in Physics from UCL. Technical expertise includes C#, SQL Server/TSQL, WCF, ASP, and various other technologies across multiple platforms.
