Barbara Clarke

Barbara Clarke serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees at Occidental College and is the Founder and Board Chair of The Impact Seat Foundation, which aims to empower women, particularly women of color, as business leaders. As the Founder of Egeria Enterprises, Barbara successfully acquired the Provincetown Bookshop and expanded into property management and development. Barbara is also a Deal Lead for the FirstStep Fund at Portfolia, focusing on venture capital investments in women-led companies, and holds positions on various investment committees and boards, including Founders First Capital Partners, LLC and Pipeline Angels. Barbara's educational background includes a BA in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University and an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis International Business School, complemented by an exchange program in Economics at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.
