Luigi Telesca

Luigi Telesca has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Luigi is currently a Blockchain - Contract Professor at UniTrento DISI since October 2022.

In 2016, they founded and served as the CEO of Trakti, an award-winning platform for smart and compliant contracts running on blockchain. Luigi also co-founded Open Trust Fabric in 2020, a company focused on blockchain technology.

Luigi Telesca is a co-author of "The LEGALTECH Book" and has been a fellow at World Commerce & Contracting since 2021. Luigi has also served as an alumni and mentor at Startupbootcamp since 2016 and a startup mentor at TechItaliaLab since 2017.

Prior to these roles, Luigi Telesca was the founder and CEO of eXrade, a research-driven startup in the software market. Luigi also served as the Chief Business Development Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Research and Development, and Business and Cooperation Director at CREATE-NET, where they were responsible for business development, technology transfer, sales, partnerships, and funding. Luigi was also the Project Coordinator of the Open Negotiation Environment (ONE) Project and held various roles at CREATE-NET focused on funding and marketing coordination.

Luigi Telesca's education history begins in 1995 when they enrolled at Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration. Luigi completed this degree in 2002, after seven years of study.

In 1999, Luigi Telesca participated in an Erasmus program at Université catholique de Louvain, where they studied Economics and Business Administration for a year.

In 2002, Luigi Telesca simultaneously pursued two master's degrees. Luigi attended Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, where they obtained a Master's degree in Economics and ICT. Luigi also studied at SIMS-University of California at Berkeley, earning a Master's degree in Economics, Computer Science, and Telecommunication. Both degrees were completed in the same year, 2003.
