Sam Edgar

Sam Edgar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Design & Media Manager at Community and Schools Radio, followed by a role as a Design and Brand Assistant at Hiscox. In 2010, they joined Al Jazeera English as a Researcher before transitioning to FirstEnergy Capital Corp., Research Division in 2011 as a Research Assistant. From 2014 to 2015, Sam pursued their passion for adventure and cycled across France, Spain, Morocco, and Sri Lanka, as well as rode across India and Nepal. Sam then joined HSBC as a Digital Programme Specialist from 2015 to 2018. Sam's career in product management began in 2019 when they worked as a Digital Transformation Consultant at Mind Gym. Sam held various product leadership positions at Mind Gym, including Product Lead and Product Proposition and Integration Lead. In 2022, they joined Wondrous as a Senior Product Consultant before becoming the Head of Product at Tranquiliti. Sam also served as the Chief of Staff (Interim) at WIN: Women in Innovation from August 2022 to January 2023.

Sam Edgar completed a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Contemporary Identities from the University of Bristol, from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from The Open University, from 2011 to 2016. Their undergraduate studies were preceded by a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Philosophy of Art from the University of Kent, from 2004 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Sam Edgar has also obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in July 2022, Adult Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in January 2022, a User Experience (UX) Design Short Course certification from the University of the Arts London in April 2021, Agile Project Management Foundation & Practitioner certification from APMG International in January 2020, Yoga Instructor Certification - Level I from The Life Centre / Yogacampus in July 2018, Managing Equality and Diversity in an Organisation certification from The Institute of Leadership & Management in November 2017, and a Diploma in Management - Level 5 from The Institute of Leadership & Management in November 2007.
