Richard McNeil

Richard McNeil has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and cloud application delivery. Richard started their career at Sequoia Retail Systems as a Systems Administrator in 2000 and worked there until 2014. During this time, they gained expertise in system administration.

In 2014, Richard joined BlueStripe as a Systems Administrator, where they focused on creating new testing and development environments while maintaining existing environments across various platforms.

In 2015, Richard joined Microsoft as a Systems Administrator, where they played a crucial role in integrating existing BlueStripe environments into the larger Microsoft corporate network.

In 2016, Richard joined Sequoia Retail Systems again, this time as an IT Manager. Richard worked on skill-set development for a young team of sysadmins and was involved in infrastructure and application architecture planning.

In 2016, Richard joined Blackboard as the Manager of Transact Network Operations. Richard was responsible for easing the transition into a larger corporation after an acquisition and implementing a transition from rack and stack to cloud deployments.

Finally, in 2019, Richard joined Transact Campus Inc, initially as the Manager of System Administration. Later, they were promoted to Senior Manager and eventually became the Director of Cloud Application Delivery in 2022.
