Shannon Farrar

Shannon Farrar is an experienced professional in talent strategy and university relations, currently serving as the Manager of Talent Strategy, Operations, & Programs at Transamerica since March 2020. In this role, Shannon supervises a team of recruiters and manages campus and community recruiting activities, focusing on developing a robust internship program and innovative sourcing strategies. Prior to Transamerica, Shannon held the position of Manager of University Relations and Community Engagement at Zayo Group, where responsibilities included executing a summer internship program and fostering relationships with educational institutions. Earlier career experience includes roles at International Studies Abroad (ISA) as Program Manager and Interim Placement Director, where Shannon contributed to program development and supported participant success. Shannon holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Mary Washington and has studied at Bond University.
