Gary Embleton

Gary Embleton has extensive experience in risk management and compliance. Gary is currently serving as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at Transcard, where they hold roles as the Group Compliance Officer, MLRO, and Head of UK. Transcard is a leading payments technology solutions company. Prior to their current position, Gary worked as the Risk Automation Manager at Greensill, where they were responsible for designing and implementing credit risk expansion processes and procedures. Gary also supported the incorporation and regulatory requirements of the China expansion and the integration of Omni Technologies acquisition within Chile and Colombia. Before Greensill, Gary held various roles at Hitachi Capital, including Senior Credit Manager and Corporate Risk Team Manager. Gary managed portfolios, developed and motivated teams, and performed credit underwriting for large transaction deals. Gary began their career as a Risk Assessor at HSBC Invoice Finance.

Gary Embleton attended the University of Plymouth from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's degree with Honours in Politics with International Relations. Additionally, they pursued a Master's degree in Philosophy at The Open University.
