Dien Ho has a diverse work experience in various industries. Dien began their career as a Supply Production Leader at Oxylane Group (Decathlon) from November 2010 to October 2011. Dien then transitioned into the water industry, working as a Process Engineer at Veolia Water Technologies from January 2012 to December 2013, where they mainly focused on technical aspects such as process design and proposal. Dien then advanced to the role of Solution Manager at Veolia Water Technologies from January 2014 to August 2016. After that, they joined Hach as a Municipal Sales Manager from September 2016 to August 2018. Dien then worked at Trojan Technologies as a Regional Sales Manager, first focusing on Industrial sales from August 2018 to June 2022, and then on Municipal sales in Québec, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan from January 2019 to February 2020. Most recently, Dien served as the Owner of Restaurant Pho Ong Rau from May 2022 to present, and they will be joining Transcend as the Director of Global Sales from July 2023 onwards.
Dien Ho obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, with a specialization in Organic chemistry, from HCMC University of Technology in Vietnam. Dien attended this institution from 2003 to 2008.
Following their undergraduate studies, Dien pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, specializing in Water and wastewater treatment, from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne). Dien completed their Master's from 2008 to 2010.
In addition to their formal education, Dien has obtained several certifications. These include "Funnel Management Leadership" from Danaher Corporation in 2016, "Hach Training Academy Lab and Process Instrumentation" from Hach in 2016, "DELF (Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française), Level B2" from Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) in 2015, and "IELTS 7.5" from the British Council in 2015. Dien also completed two wastewater treatment process certifications, "Master Wastewater Treatment Process - Part II: Sludge Treatment" in 2013 and "Master Wastewater Treatment Process - Part I: Water Treatment" in 2012, both from Veolia.
