Margaret Rose Werd

Margaret Rose Werd, PhD, has extensive experience across various sectors, particularly in consulting, sales, and sustainability. Currently serving as National Sales Director and Consultant at American Bean since 2012, Werd specializes in plant-based protein products aimed at the food industry, especially educational institutions. Additionally, Werd holds roles as Trustee and Director at Rainbow Quicksilver Mines, where focus is on developing solar energy solutions and the Rainbow Institute for Sustainability. As Executive Director at Mt Rushmore Management, Werd oversees alternative investment technologies, while also being a Certified Teacher of Transcendental Meditation and President of H.O.E. Corporation, focused on interior and floral design. Werd's prior experience includes influential positions in technology and information systems at Bell and Howell and the New York Times.
