Zhenling (Jenny) Yao

Zhenling (Jenny) Yao is currently the VP and head of Clinical Pharmacology at Transcenta, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Johnson & Johnson from February 2015 to September 2021 as a Scientific Director. From October 2012 to January 2015, they were the Director of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics at CSL Behring. Before that, they had roles at MedImmune/Astrazeneca, including Principle Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology from June 2012 to October 2012, and Senior Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology from November 2009 to May 2012. Zhenling (Jenny) also worked as an Associate Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology at Genentech from January 2007 to November 2009. Zhenling began their career at Peking University First Hospital, where they completed their Residency from August 1998 to June 2000.

Zhenling (Jenny) Yao pursued their education in a chronological manner. Zhenling (Jenny) first attended Peking University, where they obtained their MD in Medicine. Following this, they went on to pursue a PhD in PK/PD, Pharmaceutical Science from the University at Buffalo, completing their studies from 2001 to 2006.
