Dan Georgess has a diverse work experience in various scientific roles. Dan started as a Marie Curie Fellow at the Tissue Transmigration Training Network in 2009 and stayed until 2013. Dan then became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from 2014 to 2018. In 2019, they joined the Lebanese American University as an Assistant Professor and worked there until 2022. After that, they took on the role of Project Leader at TransCure bioServices from February 2022 to September 2022. Dan then became the Director of Alliance Management from October 2022 to March 2023. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Scientific Officer at TransCure bioServices starting from April 2023.
Dan Georgess attended the Lebanese University - Faculty of Sciences from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences with a major in Physiology. Dan then pursued a Master's Degree in Cell and Integrative Biology at the Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 2008 to 2009. Following this, they went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell and Molecular Biology from the École normale supérieure de Lyon, completing their studies from 2009 to 2013.
