Julian Laan

Julian Laan has extensive work experience in finance and business control. Julian started their career at PostNL in 1998, where they worked as a Controller and later as a Manager in various roles, including Planning and Business Control. In these positions, they led teams and was responsible for operational planning, business control, quality control, and customer contact handling. Julian also gained experience in areas such as project control, LSS, SOX, and SAP. Julian then joined Transdev Nederland in 2014 as an Area Controller and later became the Head of Business Control. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing financial processes and driving Operational Excellence throughout the organization. Julian was a member of the corporate finance team and the management team in both companies.

Julian Laan completed their Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Amsterdam from 1998 to 2002. Before that, they attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1994 to 1998, majoring in Business Economics. Julian's education journey began at Horizon College, where they studied Retail and economics from 1991 to 1994.
