Fred Craig

Fred Craig, Jr. PE is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the transportation and engineering sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer of Transdev Rail Inc. since June 2019, Fred previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Purple Line Transit Partners from February 2018 to May 2019, overseeing the innovative P3 delivery of the Purple Line in suburban Maryland. Fred's earlier roles include Business Development Officer and Project Director at HNTB, where responsibilities included leading project development for Washington, D.C., as well as serving as Vice President and Major Program Manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, managing significant projects such as the Brent Spence Bridge and the Ohio High-Speed Rail EIS. Fred also has a background in project direction and management with Transdev North America and has held key roles at State Dock Marina Management Company and Landmarke Development Group. Fred holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and has completed Executive MBA classes at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
