Nicole Garrison

Nicole Garrison has a wide range of experience in revenue cycle management and healthcare administration. Nicole'smost recent role is as the National Director of Revenue Cycle Management at Transformations Care Network. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Revenue Operations at Nephrology Practice Solutions from 2017 to 2021. Nicole also has experience as a Senior Business Analyst at UnitedHealth Group, Director of Patient Financial Services at LifeBridge Health, Director of Professional Fee Revenue Cycle at Trivergent Health Alliance MSO, and Revenue Cycle Manager at BayCare Health System. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Billing Manager and Practice Manager at Patients First Family Medicine and West Coast Personal Injury, respectively. Nicole began their career as a Team Leader of Accounts Receivable at Women's Care Florida in 1993.

Nicole Garrison, MHIM, CCS, CRCR has a solid education history in the field of health information management and medical records administration. Nicole obtained their Master's degree in Health Science with a focus on Health Information Management from Purdue Global in 2021. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Information and Medical Records Technology from Purdue Global in 2019. In 1989, Nicole attended Pima Medical Institute-Tucson where they obtained a diploma in Administrative Medical Assistant. Before pursuing higher education, Nicole graduated from Palo Verde High School in 1988 with a focus on business. In addition to their education, Nicole has also obtained several certifications, including Certified Revenue Cycle Representative from the Healthcare Financial Management Association in 2018 and Six Sigma Yellow Belt in 2008. Nicole is also a Nationally Registered Certified Billing and Coding Specialist, although the specific year of certification is unknown. Nicole has achieved recognition for their academic performance, making the Chancellor's List in the November 2018 term at Purdue University Global. Nicole also made the President's List in the October 2017 term at Kaplan University, and the President's List in the August 2017 term at Kaplan University. Nicole has also obtained additional training in Medicare billing for Part B Providers from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
