Gaynell Young

Gaynell Young has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Gaynell began their career at AT&T in 2006 as a Sales Director and worked there until 2009. From 2010 to 2013, they served as a Project Coordinator at Young's IT Project Coordination Service. In 2014, they worked at tw telecom as a Public Sector Regional Account Manager and then moved to Level 3 Communications as a Regional Account Director in the Public Sector. In 2016, Gaynell joined Transformyx, LLC as a Senior Project Manager and also served as the Chairman of the Board at Lane Regional Medical Center. In 2020, they worked as a Project Manager at iConvergence before returning to Transformyx, LLC in 2022 in the same position as a Senior Project Manager. Gaynell Young also has a long-standing involvement with the Zachary Community School Board, where they have been a School Board Member since 2001.

Gaynell Young graduated from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge in 1976 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Speech Communication and Rhetoric. Following that, they attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio from 1976 to 1977, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Speech Communications.
