Jan Brand

Jan Brand's work experience includes various roles in the finance and infrastructure sectors.

From 2015 to present, Jan has worked at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, starting as an Investment Associate in Infrastructure and progressing to Managing Director of APAC, Infrastructure & Natural Resources. They have also held the positions of Director and Principal in the same department.

In 2022, Jan joined Connexa Limited and Sydney Desalination Plant Pty Limited as a Board Member.

Jan also served as a Board Member at Transgrid starting from December 2021.

Before joining Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Jan worked as an Analyst in Investment & Corporate Banking at BMO Capital Markets from 2014 to 2015.

In 2013, Jan was a Summer Co-op Student in Fixed Income & Alternatives Investments, Credit Group at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan.

Jan's early work experience includes working as a Supervisor at Indigo from 2008 to 2012.

Jan Brand completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Finance from McGill University from 2008 to 2012. From 2012 to 2014, Jan pursued a Masters of Financial Economics (MFE) degree from the University of Toronto, specializing in the Department of Economics & Rotman School of Management.
