Rob McKimm

Rob McKimm has a diverse work experience with a strong focus on risk management and internal audit. Rob most recently served as the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) at TransGrid, where they played a vital role in managing and mitigating risks. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Internal Audit at TransGrid and Endeavour Energy (NSW), where they were responsible for ensuring effective internal control systems. Rob also worked as the Director and Chief Financial Officer at The Centium Group, delivering professional services to various sectors nationwide. Before that, they served as the Director of Public Sector Improvement at IAB Services and as the Group Manager Risk Assurance / Head of Internal Audit at Origin Energy. Rob spent a significant portion of their career at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as a Partner. Overall, Rob McKimm brings extensive expertise in risk management, internal audit, and delivering value and insight to stakeholders.

Rob McKimm attended Western Sydney University from 1984 to 1987, where they earned a BBus degree in Accounting. Prior to that, they attended Knox Grammar School from 1975 to 1983. In addition to their formal education, Rob also obtained various certifications, including CA Risk Specialist from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2022, Certificate in Executive Management and Development from AGSM @ UNSW Business School in 2021, Graduate from Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2017, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 1995, and Chartered Accountant from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 1991.
