Joe Tombazzi

Joe Tombazzi has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Joe currently works as a Product Development Manager at TransImpact since 2021. Previously, they worked at Vizion360 from 2013 to 2020, holding positions such as Solution Integration Architect | R&D Lead, Power BI Center of Excellence Team Lead, and Pre-Sales Engineer | Power BI Architect. At Vizion360, they were involved in technical sales, developing proof of concept solutions, architecting functional and enterprise BI implementations, and providing ongoing development, rollout, and support for Power BI implementations. Joe also worked as a Solution Developer and Business Intelligence Intern at Vizion360.

Joe also has experience as a Business Intelligence Developer at Parcel B.I. - ParcelBI.com from 2017 to 2018. There, they developed ETL processes using Azure PaaS technologies to analyze parcel shipping data. Joe started their career as a Microsoft Server Administrator Intern at FirstEnergy in 2012 and worked as a Network and System Administrator at Tomco Metal Fabricating, Inc. from 2010 to 2011.

Joe Tombazzi completed their education at The University of Akron from 2010 to 2014, earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) with a focus on Management Information Systems. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Cuyahoga Community College, where they pursued Early Admit/Post Secondary studies in General Studies.

In addition to their formal education, Joe Tombazzi has obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In August 2018, they obtained the Exam 778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI certification. In March 2021, they became a Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate. In July 2022, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification. Most recently, in May 2023, Joe Tombazzi earned the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification. Furthermore, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification in April 2023.
