Shilpi Arora

Shilpi Arora has worked in a variety of roles in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. In 2004, they began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at UC Irvine. In 2008, they moved to TGen - an Affiliate of City of Hope as a Staff Scientist/ Research Investigator. In 2012, they joined Constellation Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director, Discovery Biology, where they were responsible for heading the discovery biology group and managing Ph.D. level scientists and research associates. Shilpi also co-led the 2nd gen EZH2 program to development. In 2018, they became the Director, Head of Cell Biology at X-Chem, Inc. In 2020, they joined Exo Therapeutics as VP, Discovery & Translational Biology and Executive Director, Head of Biology. Currently, they are the SVP, Discovery Research at Transition Bio, Inc.

Shilpi Arora obtained a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Delhi University between 1994 and 1997. Shilpi then went on to pursue a M.S. & Ph.D. in Biotechnology & Cancer Biology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences between 1997 and 2003. Following this, Shilpi Arora was a Post doctoral fellow at Princess Margaret Hospital, Toronto, Canada in Oncology and Cancer Biology from 2003 to 2004. Finally, they completed a Post Doctoral Research scientist in Cancer Biology at UC Irvine from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, Shilpi Arora has obtained two certifications from LinkedIn in 2021 and 2022, namely "Be the Manager People Won't Leave" and "Unconscious Bias".
