Clara Ricard

Clara Ricard is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in investment and consulting. Currently serving as Principal at Transition since November 2021, Clara focuses on partnering with Seed and Series A founders to advance climate initiatives. Prior to this role, Clara was an Investor at Balderton Capital from April 2020 to November 2021, contributing to investments in various innovative companies and developing investment theses in key sectors. Clara's earlier experience includes roles at McKinsey & Company as an Analyst, where Clara worked with the Finalta solution in financial services benchmarking, and at IHS Markit in multiple capacities, including Sales Associate and Intern. Clara also held a leadership position as Vice President of UCL Entrepreneurs, guiding a large student entrepreneurship society. Educationally, Clara holds a Bachelor's degree in Management Science from UCL and has completed a part-time executive program in Business Mandarin at The London School of Economics and Political Science, along with a French Baccalauréat from Lycee International de St. Germain-en-Laye.
