Matthew Clobridge has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew is currently the Director of Information Technology at Transitions LifeCare. Before that, they worked at Durham County Government from 2012 to 2022, serving as the Library Technology Management Administrator and later as the Durham County Library Webmaster. In these roles, they led the organization's Technology Management unit, managed staff, oversaw technology operations, and played a key role in tech support, web development, and IT troubleshooting. Matthew also served on the organization's Executive Leadership Team.
Prior to their time at Durham County Government, Matthew worked as the Director of Production and Web Manager at Beaver Country Day School, Inc. Matthew provided graphic design support, maintained the school's website and social media presence, and wrote articles about school events.
Matthew also had experience as a Contributor at edSocialMedia, a Technology Specialist at Wake County Public Schools, a Communications Associate at the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and a Video Editor/Director at CNN. In these roles, they taught technology classes, assisted teachers with integrating technology, produced science press packages, designed websites, edited news stories, and directed live shots.
Matthew Clobridge obtained a BA in Communications from the University of South Florida, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Later, from 2003 to 2006, they pursued an Elementary Education Certification at Bucknell University, focusing on Education. In addition, they obtained a certification in "Intro to Service Management with ITIL® 4" from LinkedIn in October 2021.
