Rana Amer

Rana Amer is an experienced interpreter currently working as a Medical Interpreter at AMN Healthcare and providing Over-the-phone Interpretation for aLanguageBank since August 2023. Throughout various roles, Rana has delivered remote interpreting services across multiple organizations, including Hands Up Communications, House of Languages, Translation & Interpretation Network, Geneva Worldwide, and Linguistica International, focusing on medical, legal, and educational settings. Rana's experience includes interpreting for youth and community services, as well as cultural orientation classes for refugees. Rana holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Lehman College and an Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education from Queensborough Community College of CUNY.
