Sunil Gandhi, Ph.D.

Sunil Gandhi, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning academic and research institutions. Sunil is currently a Professor at UC Irvine, where they have held various roles including Assistant Professor and Associate Professor. Sunil is also a Co-Founder of Translucence Biosystems.

Sunil Gandhi, Ph.D., began their education journey in 1994 at Stanford University. Sunil pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Neurosciences and successfully completed their studies in 1998. Following this, from 1998 to 2003, Gandhi attended UC San Diego, where they obtained their Ph.D. in Neurosciences. During their doctoral studies, they focused on their field of interest and emerged as an accomplished researcher. Following the completion of their Ph.D., Gandhi pursued further academic development as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, San Francisco, from 2003 to 2009. During this time, they worked within the Physiology Department under the guidance of Dr. Michael Stryker, specializing in the field of study related to physiology.
