Märten Veskimäe

Märten Veskimäe is an experienced manager and data scientist currently working at Trimble Transportation since April 2020, focusing on product development to enhance carrier revenue and profitability. Prior to this role, Märten served as a Senior Product Manager and Product Manager, contributing to market selection and the development of a matchmaking service for shippers and carriers. In addition, Märten has served as an alternate committee member for the Estonian Party Funding Supervision Committee since May 2016, overseeing compliance in political party funding. Previously, as Lead Data Scientist at Monese, Märten led a team that developed decision support tools and automated fraud detection systems. Early career experience includes serving as a Project Manager at the University of Tartu, where responsibilities involved grant writing and project coordination. Märten is currently pursuing a PhD in Health and Politics at the University of Tartu, having also earned a Master's degree in Comparative Politics from the same institution.
