David Ives

David Ives has extensive experience in fleet management and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Fleet Evolution Manager at Transport for Greater Manchester since February 2015, where previous roles included Fleet Engineering and Strategy Manager and Fleet Manager. Prior to this, David held various positions at Stagecoach Bus from April 2004 to February 2015, including Workshop Manager and Acting Fleet Engineer. David's career began at FirstGroup plc as an Apprentice Mechanic and Mechanic from August 1996 to June 2003, followed by a role as an HGV tester at the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency from June 2003 to April 2004. David completed education at Accrington & Rossendale College from 1996 to 2000.
