Malcolm Lowe has a diverse work experience. Malcolm started their career in 1989 as a Software Engineer and Technical Architect for various companies. Malcolm then joined Accenture in 1996 where they held the position of Senior Manager for almost ten years. In 2005, they became the IT Director at Xchanging before moving on to the Department for Work and Pensions in 2006, where they served as the Digital Director and Chief Technology Officer for over ten years. Their most recent role was as the Director of IT at Transport for Greater Manchester where they were responsible for digital, data, and technology strategies. Additionally, they also led the ticketing and retail operations during their tenure.
Malcolm Lowe attended The University of Manchester from 1986 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (Bsc) degree with honors in Mathematics and Computer Science.
