Byron de Lange is a Senior Engineer at Transport for London, a position held since July 2022. Prior to this, Byron served as a Signal Engineer at Transnet SOC Ltd from February 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities included signalling and communications design for various projects and interlocking systems. Byron earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, attending from 2009 to 2013, and completed studies at Maritzburg College from 2004 to 2008. Byron is also a registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) and a member of the Institute of Railway Signal Engineers (AMIRSE).
