Niall Farrell

Niall Farrell has extensive work experience in transportation and infrastructure. Niall is currently the Head of Luas Business at Transport Infrastructure Ireland, where they manage Dublin's light rail system. Previously, Niall held various roles at the Railway Procurement Agency, including Operations Manager and Commercial Manager for the Luas business. Before that, they worked at Arriva Bus (UK) as an Operating Manager and Management Accountant. Niall also has experience as a Senior Consultant at Brian Colquhoun and Partners and as an Assistant Engineer/Senior Assistant Engineer at Dublin Bus.

Niall Farrell's education history begins with their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, which they obtained from University College Dublin between 1977 and 1981. Niall then pursued a Master's Degree in Transport Engineering and Operations at Newcastle University from 1983 to 1984. Following this, Farrell attended the Cranfield School of Management from 1990 to 1991, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.). Additionally, they obtained a Certificate of Professional Competence in Road Passenger Transport from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport.
