Rob Beck has a diverse work experience with a strong background in the legal field. Rob started their career as a Financial Analyst at Dun & Bradstreet in 2000 and worked there until 2003. Rob then served as a Law Clerk at New Jersey Courts in 2006. In 2007, they became an Attorney at Ford Marrin Esposito Witmeyer & Gleser LLP and held the position until 2013. In 2014, they joined Crowell & Moring LLP as an Attorney, where they were later seconded to TransRe. At TransRe, they held various roles including Complex Claims Manager, Assistant Vice President - Enterprise Risk Management, Assistant Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, and Vice President & Assistant General Counsel. Since 2023, they have been the Vice President of U.S. Traditional Casualty & Canada P&C at TransRe.
Rob Beck attended Rutgers Law School, where they obtained a JD degree and served as the Managing Editor of the Law Review. Rob also pursued an MBA at Rutgers Business School. Prior to that, they studied Economics & Political Science at Rutgers University. Additionally, Rob Beck obtained certifications including Associate in Reinsurance (ARe), Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), and Insurance Regulation (IR) from The Institutes and The Institutes CPCU Society.
