Vladimir Agafonov

Vladimir Agafonov has over 20 years of work experience in database administration, data analysis, and software engineering. Vladimir is currently the Director of Data Science at Transtar Industries, where they have been working since 2018. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Software Engineering at Transtar Industries and was responsible for upgrading the production SQL Server and implementing new licensing models. Before joining Transtar Industries, Vladimir worked at Fleetmatics as a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator and Tech Lead, where they managed a 24/7 SaaS environment with a large amount of data. Vladimir has also held positions at Amresco, Dental One Partners, National City Bank, Keithley Instruments, KeyBank, and AMS Services, where they gained experience in various aspects of database administration and software development.

Vladimir Agafonov attended Case Western Reserve University in 1997-1998, studying Computer Science. Vladimir then transferred to ATS Institute of Technology, where they completed their Associate degree in Computer Science from 1998 to 2002. Additionally, Vladimir has obtained a certification in Oracle 8i PL/SQL, but the institution, month, and year of obtaining the certification are unknown.
