Sydney Burden

Sydney Burden currently serves as Senior Counsel in Legal & Compliance at TransUnion, having joined in September 2023. Previously, Sydney held the position of Counsel at Seyfarth Shaw LLP, specializing in Labor & Employment and Consumer Financial Services litigation from January 2023 to September 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Associate Attorney at Schuckit & Associates P.C., where Sydney defended a major credit reporting agency in Fair Credit Reporting Act litigation, and at Landman Beatty, Lawyers, LLP, providing legal representation in landlord-tenant disputes and general counsel services for multifamily real estate clients. Earlier roles involved litigation and legal support across various law firms and organizations, including managing personal injury claims and conducting legal research. Sydney holds a Juris Doctor from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, along with a Bachelor of Science from Indiana University Bloomington.
