Wangeci Wachira

Wangeci Wachira is an experienced leader in business development with a robust background in the financial services and technology sectors. Since April 2013, Wangeci has served as the Director of Business Development at TransUnion, where responsibilities include driving strategic vision and growth while leading a team dedicated to enhancing client opportunities and experiences. Previous roles at TransUnion include Head of Sales, during which Wangeci established a fintech business unit in Africa, and Key Account Manager, focusing on transforming client service teams into revenue-generating units. Prior experience includes positions at Diamond Trust Bank as Credit Manager and at SelfTrade and HBOS in key account and sales management roles. Wangeci holds a Master of Arts in International Economics and Trade from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Managerial Economics from the University of Leeds.
