George Martirosov

George Martirosov has extensive work experience in finance and management roles. George currently works at Transurban as the Head of Finance for the WestConnex project. In this role, they are responsible for planning, analysis, and reporting within the project, including tolling operations and major project delivery. Prior to this, George worked at Sydney Motorway Corporation as a Senior Manager for Project Accounting, Planning, and Reporting for the WestConnex road project. George has also worked at Shell, where they held various positions including Head of Finance for a Joint Venture and FP&A Manager. Additionally, George has experience in commercial roles, focusing on new project opportunities and development. George has previously worked at Genesis Energy, Alfa-Bank, Moscow Narodny Bank, and Price Waterhouse Coopers.

George Martirosov earned a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) from 1992 to 1996. George then pursued an MBA in Business Administration at the University of Otago from 2000 to 2001. Additionally, they acquired a Fellow Membership in Accounting from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants between 1996 and 1999.
