Maree Shepherd

Maree Shepherd is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in systems accounting and financial support across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Accountant at Transurban since April 2019, Maree acts as the primary interface between the ERP Support Team and Finance Teams and is recognized as a subject matter expert in Workday finance processes. Prior roles include Finance Systems Accountant at Transurban, Systems Accountant at Museums Victoria, and Project Cost Accountant for both Goulburn-Murray Water and the Northern Victoria Irrigation Renewal Project, where responsibilities involved budgeting, financial reporting, and data integrity management in financial systems. Maree's career began as an Assistant Accountant, where foundational skills in financial operations were developed. Maree holds a Bachelor of Business with a major in Accounting and a minor in Economics and Finance from Swinburne University of Technology.
